Celebrate the Tour de France Grand Depart in the heart of wine country as we head to La Rioja and Bilbao with two of the biggest names in Spanish cycling, three time World Champion Óscar Freire, and living legend Miguel Induráin, winner of five consecutive editions of the Tour de France. From our base at the Frank Gehry designed Marqués de Riscal hotel our joyriders will get a sneak peak at the roads of the Tour de France 2023 and experience all the flavour the area has to offer, from local wines to feasts created by the Executive Chef of Marqués de Riscal in partnership with our Directeur Culinaire, Ashley Palmer-Watts.

PILLOWS GRAND HOTEL REYLOF

Flanders needs no introduction to even the most casual cycling fan. The home of European, and indeed World cycling plays host to a brand new weekend exploring some of the most famous historic roads from De Ronde, alongside two Belgian legends who know them best, Philippe Gilbert and Johan Museeuw, both former World Champions, winners at Paris Roubaix and of course, the Tour of Flanders. Our journey will begin at the luxurious Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Reylof, Ghent, before venturing into the heartland of Flanders for two days and nights.

SHEEN FALLS HOTEL

From the picture-perfect Sheen Falls Lodge on the banks of the beautiful River Sheen, explore the green valleys of the Emerald Isle with Sean Kelly and Nico Roche. Sean has won a record seven consecutive editions of Paris-Nice, la Vuelta a Espana in 1988 and four Green jerseys in the Tour de France. Nico Roche has twice been Irish National Champion, has achieved 65 top ten finishes in Grand Tours and comes from a family of cycling royalty as Stephen Roche's son and Dan Martin's cousin. Riding with two of Ireland's greatest-ever cyclists will surely build up an appetite and that's where Ross Lewis steps in. The Cork-born former head chef at Chapter One in Dublin brings his Michelin-starred skills to County Kerry to create a menu filled with the flavours of this bucolic pastoral area.
