DESTINATION

OUR BASE

SHEEN FALLS LODGE

Sheen Falls Lodge dates back to the 17th century, when it was a hunting lodge loved by Oliver Cromwell, and is a magical estate nestled in viridescent woodland on the banks of Kenmare Bay and the River Sheen. With activities such as fishing, horse riding, archery, falconry and paddle-boarding, it truly is a country retreat for the 21st century. Historic features dot the 300 acre plot perfectly situated between the famous Ring of Kerry and the lesser known but equally awe inspiring Ring of Beara.

RIDING

A TOUR OF KERRY

Known as the Wild Atlantic Way, the South West of Ireland remains untamed, full of quaint villages and craggy headlands. With its mountains, waterfalls and rocky beaches, expect rides with a dash of Irish magic as you explore the 'Kingdom' of Kerry with King Kelly himself.

DINING

A TASTE OF KERRY

Evolving through centuries of political and social upheaval, Irish cuisine is a fascinating journey through Europe yet still utilises the best of the local landscapes and crops. Ross Lewis is no stranger to culinary journeys, from his background in Dairy Science at Cork University, to his first job at Odin's in Marylebone under Peter Langam. Returning to Ireland, via a stint in Geneva, he later took over Chapter One in Dublin. Having been the head chef for the State Banquet honouring Queen Elizabeth II's trip to Ireland in 2011, Ross has more than the necessary pedigree to feed our hungry joyriders after their long day in the saddle.
