THUR EVENING

TIME & PLACE

A three-course celebration of Norway’s best produce, enjoyed at the stunning Hotel Brosundet. Each course highlights the most delicious ingredients found in the Sunnmøre region. Drinks pairings will be provided by LeBlanq's Master of Wine.

FRI MORNING

JOYRIDE 01

Departing from Hotel Brosundet, we leave the city of Ålesund for your first taste of the fjords. This is a point to point ride that takes in the breathtaking natural lagoon Skodje and the headlands of Brattvåg peninsula, finishing at Hotel Storfjord . Group rides range between 70km and 140km.

FRI AFTERNOON

RECHARGE

Make yourself at home at our luxurious base for the next two nights, Hotel Storfjord. Chill out with a cooling drink, take a stroll down to the water for a refreshing dip in Glomset Bay or ease tired legs in the warmth of the hot tub.

FRI EVENING

A TASTE OF THE WILD

Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds and flavours of Norwegian nature with an unforgettable dining experience by Henrik Orre at Hotel Storfjord.

SAT MORNING

JOYRIDE 02

The ultimate ride, side by side with Thor and our team of cycling legends. Taking in the stunning beauty of the Romsdal valley, the Troll wall and the iconic switchbacks of the Trollstigen. This will be the longest ride of the weekend ranging from 70km to 130km.

SAT AFTERNOON

RECHARGE

Return to the the sumptuous Hotel Storfjord and enjoy some rest and relaxation. Take a dip in the cool waters of Glomset bay, with your fellow joyriders, or just recline with a drink and soak in the views.

SAT EVENING

TOUR DE FEAST

A 5-course homage celebrating Thor and Norwegian cycling heritage, created by Henrik Orre, aka Velochef.

Henrik Orre spent five seasons on the road producing delicious meals for Team Sky, before becoming head chef at 2 Michelin-star Matbaren in Stockholm. Somehow, in between, he also found time to publish three cycling-specific Velochef cookbooks.

TALES OF A GREEN JERSEY

A fireside chat with Nordic cycling legend, Thor Hushovd, as well as a Q&A with Rapha founder Simon Mottram. Unwind and enjoy stories from Thor's incredible career as well as Simon's journey into the world of cycling, including the stories and legends that inspired him to create Rapha.

SUN MORNING

JOYRIDE 03

Your final ride of the weekend is shorter, more relaxing, but equally as beautiful. We take in the fjords for the last time with a leisurely ride covering the rest of Skodje Lagoon.

Ålesund and the Sunnmøre region is an area known for its untouched and spectacular nature, secluded fjords and majestic mountain tops. Led by Thor Hushovd and a group of ex-pro riders, you’ll be shown the hidden beauty only the locals know. Whether you’re looking for a challenging climb or you’re just looking to take it all in, we’ll have a ride for you.

DINING

A WILD FOOD HAVEN

From running Michelin-star kitchens to five seasons fuelling Team Sky's appetite for the yellow jersey, his love for open-fire cooking and adventure cycling, Henrik Orre is the perfect pairing for a wild culinary tour deep into the Sunnmøre region. Henrik will be drawing inspiration from the surrounding flora and fauna, sourcing fresh fish and seafood from the fjords, and foraging for wild berries, herbs and mushrooms in the surrounding forests. All of which will be combined to create post-ride feasts which celebrate the very best of Nordic cuisine.

TEST RIDES

A selection of premium road bikes are available to test ride during the weekend. We also have a team of bike mechanics ready to support with fine-tuning and fixes to help keep you on the road.

CUSTOM RAPHA KIT

Each rider receives special edition Rapha kit, including a LeBlanq team jersey, gilet and cap. We also provide a laundry service for your LeBlanq kit.
