First built as a grand, private family home in the 17th century, this historic getaway offers the most tranquil escape in the English countryside. Proudly sitting on the banks of the River Skell, its beauty runs through not just the exterior, but the opulent hotel, stunning spa, multiple fine-dining restaurants, and the surrounding English Heritage listed Japanese Gardens.

RIDING

RIDE THE DALES

Renowned for its passionate fans, spectacular climbs and a Grand Départ that Le Tour fans will never forget, “God's Own Country” is celebrated as a cycling haven around the world. Conquer the undulating hills and valleys of the dales, re-tracing some of the roads from the 2019 UCI World Championships and 2014 Tour de France with Matt Stephens on your wheel.

DINING
