Exclusively for festival guests. Kick off your festival experience early on Friday 11th June riding shoulder to shoulder with Legends en route to the island, taking in stunning country lanes before arriving to a champagne reception.

Exclusively available to festival guests, there’s a choice of 3 pace groups - and for 2027 our Platinum and Celeste experiences include “The Road to” for all riding guests. If you’ve already booked, we’ll be in touch to sort your space!

No matter the pace, each rider enjoys full support on the road, pre-booked ferries, and transport back to our starting point at Goodwood Motor Circuit when the festival finishes on Sunday 13th June. If you need to leave a car at the starting point, secure parking is also included.

Walled Garden

discover the south downs

For riders who are comfortable on the bike and opt for the Red Group or want to push the pace with the Black group, you'll fuel up with breakfast at the Walled Garden Café, before rolling through the picturesque lanes of Surrey into the South Downs. Red Group will set off first, followed by the Black Group half an hour later.

Take in sweeping views as you ride gentle, undulating hills alongside our Legends, stopping midway for well-earned coffee and cake, before continuing on to Southampton to catch the ferry and round off an unforgettable ride.

RIDE WITH LEGENDS

Ride alongside Olympic gold medalists Greg van Avermaet and Dani Rowe, and TV personality & cycling presenter Matt Stephens.

DEPARTURE & ARRIVAL TIMES

Arrive at The Walled Garden at 7.30am for an 8.30am departure. You’ll be arriving on the Isle around 1:30pm, ready for the weekend’s festivities with a glass of bubbly in hand.

DISCOVER THE SOUTH DOWNS

For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, set off from the world-famous Goodwood Motor Circuit in the heart of the Sussex countryside. Ride through the South Downs along quiet, undulating lanes, taking in sweeping views before pausing for a perfectly timed coffee. Then continue on to Southampton to board the ferry to the Isle of Wight, capping off a truly memorable journey.

LUCA will be hosting a women's only ride from this destination, also at a Blue Group pace.

RIDE WITH LEGENDS

Ride alongside classics specialists Alison Jackson, winner of Paris–Roubaix Femmes, and three-time Tour of Flanders winner Johan Museeuw.

DEPARTURE & ARRIVAL TIMES

Riders for either group should be at Goodwood at 8.00am ahead of a 9.00am departure. You’ll be arriving around 1pmon the Isle, ready for the weekend’s festivities with a glass of bubbly in hand.

Each ride is fully supported by our Equipe Joyriders, a follow vehicle stocked with nutrition, water, repair kits and spare equipment in case of mechanicals.
