One of the all time greats of Norwegian cycling. Bursting onto the scene in 2009 with a dominant victory in a cold, wet, grizzly edition of Gent-Wevelgem, it was clear from the beginning that Edvald was one of the toughest riders in the bunch.
Overall winner of the Tour of Norway on three occasions, thirteen combined national championships victories in both the road race and time trial, and three stage victories on the sport’s biggest stage - Le Tour de France - Edvald will go down in history among the greatest talents ever to come out of Scandinavia.
As the curtain draws on Edvald’s illustrious nineteen years in the maelstrom that is the professional peloton, we’re delighted to welcome him to Ålesund to show him the meaning of Joyriding, and a glimpse into the luxurious relaxation that awaits in retirement.
