I'D LIKE TO BRING A FRIEND OR PARTNER WHO DOESN'T RIDE. IS THAT FINE?
Of course. We offer a non-riding price for guests who wish to stay with us and enjoy the non-riding elements of the weekend including dinners and chats. We will even organise activities for them while the riding is going on, so they too can enjoy everything our beautiful destination and base for the weekend has to offer.
I’M NOT VERY FIT, IS THIS WEEKEND RIGHT FOR ME?
We believe in joyriding, however you like to ride. We offer scaled ability groups on every ride for a wide array of abilities. With 12 weeks of training, most people should be able to cope with the 50km ride, providing you have a general base level of fitness. Riders on our easiest ride will need to be able to average roughly 10kmph.
IS THE WEEKEND COVID SAFE?
We know this is top of both yours and our minds right now, and that’s why we’re going above and beyond to ensure your safety with regards to COVID-19. We will be working within all the current governmental COVID guidelines for all our rides, dinners and hospitality, reducing capacity for the weekend and adhering to any distancing rules that are in place across the hospitality industry at the time. We will be bringing on additional staff to ensure the highest standards of health and safety compliance, consulting specifically with regards to COVID regulations and best practice. We will also be working with all our hotel and venue teams to take extra precautions with regards to our groups, with additional staff to ensure cleaning and distancing standards are upheld.
Of course, in the event of regional lockdowns, major outbreaks, and travel bans we will assess the feasibility of the overall event based on government guidance at that time.
We will be adhering to UK government restrictions with regard to hospitality, events and tourism for our all UK based events, and if these do not permit our current capacity of guests, we will postpone the weekend to a later date.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED OR POSTPONED?
We recognise that we live in uncertain times, so in the event our weekend is cancelled or postponed you will be offered a full refund for your booking. For reasons such as a COVID-19 national or regional lockdown, we will be postponing the weekend and setting a new date. You will have a 14 day cooling off period from the announcement of the new date to request a full refund. After that point, your booking will be transferred to the new date.
I AM TRAVELLING FROM A COUNTRY THAT HAS TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS, AND I AM UNABLE TO TRAVEL TO MY WEEKEND WITHOUT QUARANTINING. CAN I GET A REFUND?
Yes. If you are unable to attend one of our weekends because there are significant restrictions on your travel, such as legally imposed quarantining by the UK government through Amber or Red list designation, you will be able to request a full refund or transfer to another trip (dependent on availability). We understand that these are uncertain times and want to offer you as much flexibility as possible.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING FOR THE RIDES?
As part of your riding package you will be given LeBlanq Rapha team kit, which includes a jersey, gilet and cap, so please bring any additional kit you may require including your own shorts, helmet, shoes and suitable clothing for all weather conditions, including waterproof shoes. Our nutrition partner Veloforte will provide you with fuel for all the rides and you can refill your bidons during the rides.
WILL YOU ACCOMMODATE DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
