For riders, pedal your way gently into the weekend with a short, relaxed ride to loosen the legs, taking in stunning roads surrounding Ålesund.

For our wellness guests, take a dip in the cool Norwegian waters with a jump off the hotel jetty, then warm up in the sauna. Or if you'd rather, take advantage of the outdoor bathtub looking over the Brosundet canal.

You will also have full access to the gym and other spa facilities.

For riders, depart from Hotel Brosundet. We leave the city of Ålesund for your first taste of the fjords. This is a point to point ride that takes in the breathtaking roads of Syklyven and Stranda, before making our way to the final destination, the stunning Øye valley. Ride as hard or long as you like, with groups ranging from 80km - 130km.

For wellness guests, after a leisurely breakfast at the Hotel, board your boat for the day to discover your first taste of the Fjords. Set sail and explore the island of Sula. You can't miss the islands' pretty white lighthouse,

Taking in the stunning beauty of the Øye valley, your longest ride of the weekend is a loop that ranges from 80km - 130km, making some stops along the way to taste some of the region’s best seasonal produce.

For wellness guests, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and relax in the tranquil surrounds of the hotel, before taking a guided hike tailored to your needs and witness the most iconic and breath-taking vistas in the region.

Return to the the sumptuous Hotel Union Øye and enjoy some rest and relaxation. Take a dip in the cool waters of Norangsfjord, enjoy the Fjord sauna, or simply relax with a glass of Champagne in hand.

For riders, your final ride of the weekend is shorter, more relaxing, but equally as beautiful. We take in the fjords for the last time with a leisurely ride covering the rest of Øye valley, before returning to Ålesund.

As the riders embark on their final Joyride, wellness guests have the opportunity to follow along and explore the rest of the Øye Valley by road.

Take the Fjords for the final time before heading to our boat for our final feast. 

Make your way back towards Ålesund and indulge in a casual style feast prepared by local chefs using the finest seasonal ingredients.
