HOW DO I GET TO CAN TERRADES?
We recommend that you fly into Girona airport which is a convenient 45 minute drive from Can Terrades. Alternatively you could fly into Barcelona airport which is a 2 hour drive from Can Terrades.
We recommend looking at the event itinerary and booking your travel accordingly.

WHEN DO I NEED TO ARRIVE?
Official arrival is from midday and into the afternoon on Thursday 27th February. Aim to arrive by 3:00PM
A light lunch is included for those on site on Thursday lunchtime.
IS TRANSPORT PROVIDED TO THE HOTEL?
Group airport transfers are offered on the first and last day of the event, on Thursday 27th February and Sunday 2nd March 2025. Please book your own alternative transportation if you are arriving before, or departing after these dates and / or staying at an alternative location.
Please supply your flight details at least 3 weeks prior to arrival in order to guarantee your transfer. If flight details are received after this date then transfers cannot be guaranteed.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I BOOK MY DEPARTURE FLIGHT?
We recommend you book a flight departing no earlier than 5:30PM from Girona airport and no earlier than 7:00PM from Barcelona airport on Sunday 2nd March as the event will conclude at approximately 3:00PM.
DO I NEED TO BRING MY BIKE?
We recommend that you bring your own road bike / e-bike.
Re-building and dismantling your bike into a bike box onsite is your own responsibility. Bike boxes can be stored on site. LeBlanq cannot be held liable for any damage to your bike.
Alternatively we have a fleet of high end road bikes in selected sizes available to hire. Please contact our Concierge for more details.
Please note; TT or Tri bars are not allowed for safety reasons.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY BIKE IS DELAYED?
In the rare event that your bike doesn't arrive on your flight, we will endeavour to help arrange a hire bike. We suggest you pack your essentials for riding in your hand luggage.
WILL THERE BE A MECHANIC TO FIX MY BIKE?
It is essential that you bring your road bike in good working order, and we highly recommend a bike service before arriving. Our mechanics will be on hand to safety check your bike when you arrive, and should you need your bike repaired during a ride, our mechanics will aim to fix the problem. Any new parts will be at your own expense, you will be invoiced accordingly.
LeBlanq cannot be held liable for any damage to your bike.
IS THERE BIKE SECURITY & BIKE BOX STORAGE?
Appropriate bike storage is available at Can Terrades. Your bike or bike box are stored at your own risk.
If you have booked extra nights at the hotel, bike and bike box storage security becomes your own responsibility before the event starts and after the event concludes.
WHEN DO I PICK THE DISTANCE I WANT TO RIDE?
You will be asked what distance you would like to ride as we get closer to the event. The better you tell us about your ability, the better the ride. We cater for all abilities from Novice to Advanced and you will be grouped with similar ability guests.
On the day of arrival you’ll be informed at registration which riding group you’ll be in for the event and given a coloured wristband relevant to your group which you need to wear on the rides. Should you need to change groups during the event then our Directeur Sportif and Ride Leaders will advise you accordingly.
DO I NEED TO TRAIN FOR THE RIDES?
No - we are all about Joyriding.
However, ride preparation tips will be provided as a guide to get you ready for the event
This is not a mandatory training plan but more to give an idea of the level of riding in the different groups.
WHAT KIT DO YOU SUPPLY?
As part of your riding package you will be given LeBlanq Rapha team kit, which includes a jersey, gilet and cap plus a bidon, so please bring any additional kit you may require including two pairs of bib shorts, helmet, shoes and suitable clothing for all weather conditions. Nutrition and hydration will also be supplied for all rides.
WHAT SHOULD I PACK?
We suggest you carry some key essentials in your cabin bag, such as your bike shoes, a change of clothes, bib shorts and essential medical supplies so your weekend is not affected in the unlucky situation that your luggage doesn't arrive. The weather is changeable still in March, so it's wise to bring extra layers which can be put in the support cars.
WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE?
Pre and post-ride dress code, is very much a home-from-home relaxed weekend vibe. Feel free to dress in loungewear. Smart/casual for the evening meals. Bring a jacket or something warm to wear as we hope to host pre-dinner drinks outdoors.
WHEN ARE GPX FILES SUPPLIED?
We will provide you with the GPX of the routes for your own reference before you arrive. Our experienced ride leaders and support crew will be with you, positioned at the front and back of each group, so that you can relax and just enjoy the ride. All rides are non-drop, so we constantly check all group members are within the group.
HOW BIG ARE THE RIDING GROUPS?
Our groups vary in numbers but most groups are max 10 riders, with a Ride Leader at the front and back.
I’D LIKE TO BRING A FRIEND OR PARTNER WHO DOESN’T RIDE. IS THAT OK?
Absolutely! We offer a Wellness package for guests who wish to stay with us and who are not riders. Wellness activities such as hiking, yoga, guided tours of Girona and wine tastings will be offered according to group demand. There will be plenty of opportunities for riders and non-riders to spend time together in the afternoons and evenings in the sanctuary of beautiful Can Terrades, relaxing in the infra-red sauna, having a dip in the pool, enjoying dining occasions, and the evening chat at the Lodge.
IS THIS AN ADULT ONLY EVENT?
Our events are adult only, and the minimum age for bookings is 18.
I’M COMING ON MY OWN, WILL THERE BE OTHER SINGLE CYCLISTS?
Yes, many guests come on their own and leave having made new friends.
WHAT OCCUPANCY ARE THE ROOMS?
Single, twin or double occupancy rooms are available.
CAN I BOOK EXTRA NIGHTS?
If you wish to extend your stay pre or post event, please contact our Concierge.
WHAT INFORMATION AFTER BOOKING DO I RECEIVE?
You will receive pre-event questionnaires, so we can find out your dietary preferences, Rapha kit sizes, preferred riding distances, travel plans and other essential information.
A Guest Guide is emailed the week before the event and details everything you need to know to prepare you for the weekend.
HOW DO I CANCEL MY BOOKING?
Should you change your mind, you have a 14 day cooling off period from the date of booking to claim back your deposit. Following the 14 days please refer to our cancellation policy HERE.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED OR POSTPONED?
Should we have to cancel or postpone the event, you will have a 14 day cooling off period from the announcement of the new date to request a full refund. After that point, your booking will be transferred to the new date.
SHOULD I HAVE TRAVEL/MEDICAL INSURANCE?
Yes, we all guests must have personal travel insurance to take part in a LeBlanq event. Please ensure that there is adequate cover for your travel and bike.
DO YOU ACCOMMODATE DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
Yes, of course. All dietaries allergies will be catered for, just share the details once your booking is completed.
