Smokey and nutty on the nose with aromas of fresh quince, pear, almonds and toasted notes. In the mouth, hints of oak, almonds, camomile, pear, dried apricots and a soft sweep overall. Wonderful balance, well defined acidity, good length.
2015 Corona Blanco Gran Reserva CVNE
Only the second time this has ever been made, the first in 1939. Perfumed, peachy and spicy but not overtly oaky, with hints of mushrooms and yeasts. The palate is quite mellow, tasty, just subtly sweet, quite easy to drink. This should age effortlessly for many years, developing more complexity and nuance. It has very good freshness and still feels very young.

A delicate, pure wine, made from 20 to 50 year old, organically farmed vines in different vineyards In Mallorca. Gently perfumed with notes of dried rose petal and talcum powder, perfumed and spicy, with orange peel freshness. Rounded & lush, very approachable Reserva that is perfumed and fruit-driven, with spices in the background. A seamless integration of oak that is melded into the wine, with tannins that are barely noticeable.
2019 Casa Castillo Cuvée N Jumilla
Quite a rich, dense wine with more developed notes – it still has the Casa Castillo token freshness and fine tannins - good ripeness, with notes of aromatic herbs and ripe fruit (without excess), a medium to full-bodied palate with some grainy tannin and a whiff of spiciness from the élevage.
