LeBlanq - Terms and conditions



The following document, together with our privacy policy, our website terms of use, and all information relating to your chosen tour package contained in our website (www.leblanq.com) forms the basis of your contract with LeBlanq Ltd, trading as LeBlanq. Please read them carefully as they set out all respective rights and obligations.

LeBlanq Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales.  Our company registration number is 12580594 and our registered office is at Lynton House, 7-12 Tavistock Square, London, WC1H 9LT. 

We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and you can access our Privacy Policy here.


1. Booking and payment

Please complete the online booking process via www.leblanq.com. Depending on the event type a deposit or full payment will be required at time of booking. The deposit may only be refunded if your booking is cancelled under certain circumstances. For further details, please see Section 2, 4 and 7.

On receipt of your booking you will receive a confirmation email including the schedule of your outstanding payments. If the balances are not paid by the stated dates we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit.

Please note that when you make your booking, a contract comes into place between LeBlanq and the customer. This means you will be obliged to pay the balance as set out on the acknowledgement and payment terms. Shortly after the contract comes into place between us, our Concierge will be happy to make contact with you to discuss your booking and answer any further questions you may have.   

All correspondence for your booking will be sent to the person who has placed the booking with us, known as the “Lead Rider,” only.  It is the Lead Rider’s responsibility to manage all payments due and forward all relevant correspondence onto your party. Please note that we cannot send correspondence to other named parties on the booking due to data protection legislation. 


2. Changing your booking

You are permitted to change your booking to another Event up to 3 months prior to the start date of the original event booking. If it is less than 3 months prior to the start date of the event, then you cannot transfer your booking to an alternative event.

If transferring your booking to an alternative event, any shortfall in the new event cost will need to be paid for at point of transfer. 

Please contact our Concierge if you wish to transfer your booking to another event.

Any alterations you wish to make to your booking must be notified to us in writing by email by the Lead Rider.


3. Name Changes 

If you wish to change the name on a booking, then this can be done, free of change, up to 4 weeks prior to the start of the event. Please contact our Concierge to make the change.


4. If you cancel your booking

Should you or any member of your party be forced to cancel your booking, you must do so in writing and this email must be submitted by the Lead Rider. The cancellation will take effect from the date that such written notice is received by LeBlanq Ltd

Unless your booking is made within 14 days of the event start date, you will have a 14 day cooling off period after booking, during which you are entitled to cancel your booking with a full refund. After this period, if you wish to cancel your booking then the following terms will apply:

More than 6 months prior to event start date - initial deposit forfeited

Less than 6 months prior to event start date - 50% refund

Less than 3 months before event start date - non-refundable

If your booking is made within 30 days of the event start date then full, non-refundable payment is required at time of booking. 


5. Groups

When making a group booking, the person first named on the booking form will become the Lead Rider, accepting on behalf of all your party these booking conditions. The confirmation invoice will be sent to the Lead Rider. Any questions concerning the tour from members of the group must be sent to us by the Lead Rider only.


6. Website accuracy

The information given on our website, and any other publications from LeBlanq, has been carefully checked and correct at the time of publication. We reserve the right to make changes and where they occur, they will be advised to you before the booking contract is concluded. The prices shown include VAT. Should VAT rise above 20% the prices shown may alter. If there are any changes to the published prices, these will be confirmed at the time of booking.


7. Changes or cancellation by us

Very rarely we have to make changes to a tour after a booking has been confirmed or cancel confirmed bookings. Whilst we always endeavour to avoid changes and cancellations we must reserve the right to do so. If we have to cancel your tour or make a significant change before departure (such as a change of accommodation for the whole or a major part of the time you are away, a change to the date of departure, or a significant change to your itinerary such as missing out one or more destinations entirely we will notify you as soon as possible and you will have the choice of:-


8. Covid-19 implications

You agree to inform us if you or any member of your group has tested positive for Covid-19, or shows signs of Covid-19 within 14 days of the start of the event. We would request that the infected member and anyone else in your group who has been in contact with that member should not attend the event. 


9. Talent

All appearing talent is subject to availability and as such, no refunds will be issued through non-attendance of specific talent. LeBlanq will endeavour to replace any headline talent with like-for-like talent.


10. Force majeure

We regret we cannot accept any liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by, or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss as a result of force majeure. Force majeure means any event which we, or the supplier of the service(s) in question, could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events include war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activities, industrial disputes, fire, natural or nuclear disasters, adverse weather conditions, pandemics, epidemics, certain Foreign Office declarations and all similar events outside our control.


11. Special requests

Any special requests must be advised to us in writing prior to the due date for final payment e.g. diet, room location, a particular facility at a hotel etc. Whilst every effort will be made by us to try and arrange your reasonable special requests, we cannot guarantee that they will be fulfilled. The fact that a special request has been noted or that it has been passed on to the supplier is not confirmation that the request will be met. Failure to meet any special request will not be a breach of contract on our part unless the request has been specifically confirmed. We cannot accept bookings that are conditional upon any special request being met.


12. Travel and transport

Tickets for travel of any kind whatsoever are issued subject to the conditions and regulations published in the timetable, books or other notices of the persons, companies or authorities undertaking such transport. LeBlanq cannot be held liable for any changes, cancellations or delays caused by other operators.


13. Travel insurance

Adequate travel insurance is a condition of your contract with us. You must be satisfied that your insurance fully covers all your personal requirements including cancellation charges, medical expenses and repatriation in the event of accident or illness and existing medical conditions. Your insurance must also cover you to undertake cycling activities and the associated risks plus your bike and its transportation and repairs. If you choose to travel without adequate insurance cover, we will not be liable for any losses arising, in respect of which insurance cover would otherwise have been available.


14. Our responsibility

We will accept responsibility if any death, personal injury, failure or deficiency of your event arrangements is caused by negligence or omissions by us. We will not be responsible for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, expense, cost or other sum or claim of any description whatsoever which results from the fault of the person(s) affected or any member(s) of their party or results from an event or circumstance which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not have predicted or avoided even after taking all reasonable care. We cannot accept responsibility for any services which do not form part of our contract. This includes, for example, any additional services or facilities which your hotel or any other supplier agrees to provide for you where the services or facilities are not advertised on our website and we have not agreed to arrange them. The maximum liability for any damages other than for personal injury or illness will be limited to the price paid for the event.


15. Your responsibilities

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are physically fit, adequately experienced, suitably equipped for your event and aware of the risks involved in such an event. Although LeBlanq will ensure the event is as safe as possible you must accept that the sole responsibility for your personal safety remains with you.

In the interests of safety you must undertake to follow the advice and instruction in the weekend guide provided, as well as that provided by anybody on our behalf, heed any warning or advisory notices encountered on your tour and act sensibly and prudently at all times. If it is felt that you are not sufficiently fit, healthy, properly equipped or able to complete the event without affecting its safety, comfort or happy progress, the ride leader or organiser at any stage has the right to suspend your participation in some components of the event. 

Additionally, any damage caused by group members to accommodations or transports used in the course of your event is the responsibility of the individuals within the group. Likewise, any damage caused by solo travellers is their own responsibility.  LeBlanq cannot accept responsibility for any such damage, and accommodations/transports booked retain the right to reclaim costs from the Lead Rider, whether they are travelling as part of a group or alone.

LeBlanq cannot accept responsibility for any wear and tear to equipment you provide for the event. Likewise, you accept responsibility for any breakages that occur during your event, even if they hinder your ability to complete your event. We will do our utmost to assist you in procuring replacements or repairs, but any cost for the same lies with you, and no refunds can be issued for events halted due to damaged or broken equipment.


16. Complaints and problems

In the unlikely event that you have any reason to complain or experience any problems with your event whilst away, you must contact LeBlanq Ltd. immediately so that we have the opportunity to rectify your complaint at the time and we will do our best to resolve the problem straight away. Should it not be possible to resolve your complaint immediately, you should write to us, giving full details, within 14 days of the event’s conclusion. Complaints received after this date can be very difficult to investigate.


17. Privacy

We treat your data with care and keep it as secure as is reasonably possible. We will never sell your personal details to another organisation, and we’ll always ask your consent before sending marketing emails. For further details see our privacy policy.


18. Jurisdiction

All matters arising from your contract with us are governed by English Law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.


19. Consumer protection

The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations. Therefore, you will benefit from all EU rights applying to packages. LeBlanq will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole.

Additionally, as required by law, LeBlanq has protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that it becomes/they become insolvent. 20. Storing your data

We store and process your data based on the contract formed when you make your booking, and in line with our Privacy Policy.
