Explore the stunning coastal roads, white sandy beaches and surrounding vineyards alongside two legends of the cycling world, Daryl Impey, a pro-rider currently racing for UCI World Team Israel–Premier Tech, who was the first South African rider to wear the coveted yellow jersey, and David Millar, the first British rider to have worn the leader's jersey in all three Grand Tours, as well as all leader's jerseys at the Tour de France. When you’re not riding, unwind at The Cellars-Hohenort Hotel, a 5-star luxury retreat with breathtaking views of Table Mountain. An idyllic setting to begin your culinary tour of the Constantia region, with fine-dining menus created by esteemed South African chef Kobus van der Merwe, owner of Wolfgat restaurant - winner of ‘World’s Best Restaurant 2019'.

THUR AFTERNOON

PROLOGUE

Pedal your way gently into the weekend with a short, relaxing ride alongside your fellow joyriders, stopping along the way to take in the beauty of the region with a glass of Champagne Laurent-Perrier in hand.

Enjoy drinks in the gardens before a celebration of the region's finest produce with a 3-course dinner created by Tronette Dippenaar, the executive chef at The Cellars.

FRI MORNING

JOYRIDE 01

The ultimate ride, side by side with David Millar, Daryl Impey and Colin Sturgess, taking in all the beauty the Western Cape has to offer with five distances ranging from 60km to 160km. We’ll also make a few stops along the way to taste some of the region's finest produce.

FRI AFTERNOON

RECHARGE

Enjoy an afternoon of relaxation at The Cellars with lunch in the gardens, drinks by the pool, post-ride stretching and a chance to take a moment to unwind in the tranquil wellness spa.

FRI EVENING

THE CELLARS X WOLFGAT BRAAI

Your first taste of Wolfgat comes in the form of a traditional South African braai, created by Kobus van der Merwe, in collaboration with Tronette Dippenaar and her team. Celebrate the very best local produce with a 3-course pool-side feast.

TALES OF A YELLOW JERSEY

An after dinner chat with cycling greats, David Millar and Daryl Impey, hosted by Matt Stephens and Adam Blythe. Unwind and enjoy tales from their Grand Tour victories, days in the maillot jaune and much more.

SAT MORNING

Our second Joyride is another stunning tour of the surrounding region, with a choice of five distances ranging from 60km - 160km, along the way tasting more treats from the Western Cape larder.

SAT AFTERNOON

RECHARGE

Another chance to enjoy an afternoon of relaxation at The Cellars-Hohenort with lunch, drinks by the pool, post-ride stretching and a chance to unwind and take advantage of the signature treatments in the Fresh Wellness Spa.

TOUR DE FEAST

A 5-course celebration of the cycling greats, produced by Kobus van der Merwe, owner of Wolfgat 'World’s Best Restaurant 2019'. Includes Laurent-Perrier pairings devised by LeBlanq’s own sommelier.

JOYRIDE 03


After two lengthier rides, our final Joyride is a leisurely 50km route with multiple stops to take in yet-to-be-seen vistas, and of course, a chance to feast on more of the region's very best produce.

THE FINISH DINE

The final culinary celebration. An opportunity to share stories with fellow guests and enjoy a relaxed meal created by The Cellars and served on the terrace, family style.
