Explore the beauty of the Surrey Hills on the 24th July alongside three-time Paris Roubaix and Tour of Flanders winner, Johan Museeuw, who on this very day will be celebrating 32 years since his glorious victory on the Champs Élysées, claiming the final stage of the 1990 Tour de France. You’ll not only have the chance to ride with Johan, but also watch the finale of Le Grand Boucle at Specialized HQ sat right next to him, before heading to Sorrel for a Michelin-Star feast created by Steve Drake. This is the ultimate one day Joyride.

SURREY HILLS ITINERARY /

8:30AM - 10:00AM

BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS

Start the day at Specialized HQ with a light breakfast alongside Johan Museeuw and your fellow joyriders, enjoying pastries and coffee served by Artisan's expert baristas.

10:00AM - 4:00PM

SURREY HILLS JOYRIDE

Hit the road and enjoy a stunning Joyride venturing through country lanes, conquering the most iconic climbs and stopping off for a mid-ride refuel at one of the areas most beautiful vistas alongside Johan and our ride leaders. There will be a choice of three routes, designed to suit the needs of all riding abilities.

1:00PM - 4:00PM

RECHARGE

Head back to Specialized HQ for a shower and then enjoy cool-down drinks and lunch created by our team of chefs, before settling down to watch the final stage of the Tour de France with the ‘Lion of Flanders’ Johan Museeuw.

6:00PM - 10:00PM

A TASTE OF SORREL

Enjoy a Laurent-Perrier champagne reception from 6pm before a 3-course homage to the 'Lion of Flanders', Johan Museeuw, created by Steve Drake at his one Michelin-star restaurant, Sorrel.

Our ride will begin at the home of Specialized in Dorking, where you can enjoy a pre-ride breakfast with your fellow joyriders and ride leaders. Post-ride enjoy lunch, drinks and freshen up before watching the final stage of the Tour de France on the big screen with Johan Museeuw.

The Surrey Hills is revered as one of the UK’s most beautiful areas of outstanding natural beauty. With quiet country lanes, winding rolling roads and breathtaking vistas atop of some of the areas most iconic climbs, this really is a playground for roadies looking to escape to the countryside.

From the beautiful 300 year old exterior, to the stunning, open kitchen inside, Sorrel has a charm like no other. Whilst dining guests have a window into the inner workings of Steve Drake’s one Michelin-star restaurant, before feasting on what the Michelin Guide describe as; “Simple yet intricate creative modern dishes, where flavours, textures and temperatures come together in perfect harmony.”
